Terms of use

Hakoniwami · last updated 29 October 2026

These terms apply when you play Hakoniwami, on the web or in an app. By playing, you agree to them. If you're under 18, check them with a parent or guardian.

Who can play

Hakoniwami is for people aged 13 and over.

The game is free

Hakoniwami is free to play. Petals, ornaments, houses, pets and everything else you earn are part of the game. They have no money value, and they can't be bought, sold or exchanged for anything outside the game. We may rebalance the game from time to time, for example changing how many petals a puzzle pays or what things cost.

Your saves

Your garden is saved on your device. If your browser's data is cleared, the app is uninstalled or the device is lost, your garden may be lost too. We can't restore it. To keep a copy, make a transfer code in Settings and keep it somewhere safe, together with its passphrase.

Fair play

Please don't use Hakoniwami to break the law. Don't try to disrupt the game or the website, and don't copy, sell or republish the game or its artwork, music or code as your own. Names you give your pets and garden should be ones you'd be happy for others to see if you share a screenshot or a transfer code.

Ownership

Hakoniwami, including its artwork, music, puzzles and code, is © 2026 Gate_Farmer. You may play it and share screenshots and videos of your garden, for example on social media or in reviews. Any other use needs our permission.

Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop offering Hakoniwami or any part of it. If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under the consumer laws of the place where you live, that can't lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, Hakoniwami is provided "as is". We aren't liable for indirect loss, or for loss of saves or progress.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live.
